From Nancy M. Thurston, author and social activist

Things flow as I write, and little details like spelling and tenses take a back seat. I haven't cared enough about the grammar rules I learned a long time ago to be consistent with those pesky details during my creative process.

To Ann Eames, however, grammar rules.

Magic happened whenever Ann did her corrections to my pages.  Wonder of wonders, good grammar, tense consistency, and accurate spelling strengthened my work.

But Ann wasn't rigid with rules.  She also believed that a dash of consistently breaking-a-rule gave my writing a unique spice. I am grateful that I could send every one of the 400 pages of my
book to her for her editor's pen.  Big Topics at Midnight is a much stronger book because of Ann Eames.

As a writer and editor for many years, Ann Eames has helped make
our writing style consistent at The Lexington School. I value her
 editing eye.

She is amazing at helping me find my voice and keeping my message
 on target.

 I value her judgment.

From Alice Hardesty, poet and memoir writer

As an otherwise experienced writer, I am completely flummoxed by the placement of commas, semi-colons, and dashes, but Ann's careful editing has saved me.

She also helped me weave a more consistent thread throughout my story.

Alice Hardesty's, Cancer Lessons, is in its pre-publication phase.
